Designing websites is a complex field. Having an eye for design, being able to choose the right colors and aligning the pieces with one another for the strongest visual impact is as necessary as knowing your way around HTML, PHP, CSS, Javascript or whatever technology you use.
But it doesn’t stop here. Technology is evolving as fast as design trends change. I am a firm believer that we should specialize as late as possible, if at all.
