- Typography & Font Settings
Easy-on-the-eye typography is the best way to ensure that your visitors will consume and digest the text-based content you present to them. All images and videos aside, text is the dominant medium on the Internet. Besides the standard font-families that have been used in web design for the last several years, you can also incorporate all the available fonts of the google font directory into your design. More free or commercially licensed fonts can be used via full @font-face support. Once they are set up, they can be applied on all text elements throughout the theme.
- Body
Set the main site background color and/or image. Fixed and full-width backgrounds as well as randomized full-width background images are possible.
- Header
in a lot of web designs the header is usually the first thing a visitor sees when visiting your website. It is important to your branding since it often carries the logo. I know that there are plenty of designers out there who are skilled in designing via CSS. Almost every element throughout the FrameWork has its own CSS class and you can style it directly using CSS, including custom CSS code, without having to touch any of the FrameWork files to make your designs update-proof.
- Gallery
Choose to use a full-width gallery (Demo) or a smaller one (Demo) that stays within the boundaries of your content container. You can also set up if your album and photo thumbnails are listed in an orderly or a more chaotic fashion utilising a fluid grid layout. Thumbnail sizes can also be edited for every hierarchy level.
Optimized for Search Engines, performance-driven architecture
Of course you want free traffic from the search engines. The SEO options of the RichWP FrameWork are backwards compatible to the famous All-In-One SEO Plugin, meaning that if you used this plugin in the past you do not need to rework all your posts and pages. The FrameWork will recognize your custom titles, meta descriptions, and meta keywords. Should you, for whatever reason decide to abandon the FrameWork at one point, then just run the AIOSEO plugin together with another theme – it’s future proof.
